Halloween is, undoubtedly, one of the most popular holidays among kids and grown-ups alike all around the world.

It also happens to be a celebration with the longest and richest history, with roots in ancient Celtic culture.

On October 30, the Invictus families, teachers, and staff got together to take part in Halloween-themed activities and spread our joy to the community.

Our wonderful teachers started with decorating the school to create holiday mood.

老师们精心地装饰学校，营造浓厚的节日气氛。

All week before celebration we listened to spooky songs about ghosts and read eerie stories about witches.

在万圣节活动开始的前一周，小朋友们通过听毛骨悚然的幽灵儿歌、看可怕的巫婆故事，了解了万圣节的元素以及文化。

me of our little friends have never heard of Halloween before but they showed true Open-mindedness and Courage when learning about strange customs and the history of the holiday.

有些小朋友之前从未听说过万圣节，但他们在学习这个节日的习俗和历史时表现出了真正的开放性思维和勇气。

All students helped decorate the school by creating and donating their best artworks.

By the end of the week we got so excited, Halloween couldn’t come fast enough!

We welcomed our family members and some guests from community dressed-upas vampires, pumpkins, Spider-Men, Supermen, ghosts, and other fantastic creatures.

Invictus teachers and staff couldn’t miss such an opportunity to disguise themselves as a mischievous witch or a scary ghost, either.

茵维特的老师和工作人员们当然不能错过这个机会。

We believe that doing things together gives us all a strong sense of community and sets positive role model for the students.

Then it was time for the Trick-or-Treating!

The kids went to different stations to play Halloween games and get candy.

“不给糖就捣蛋”的时间啦!

孩子们通过去不同的区域玩万圣节游戏来获取糖果。

We had a very creative version of the candy-hunting because we are not so easily spooked, BWA-HA-HA-HA!

Next on the agenda were the Witch Hat Ring Toss and Pin the Spider that required concentration and some critical thinking skills but that’s something we never lacked!

“女巫帽的戒指”和“蜘蛛冒险”游戏，需要游戏者拥有十分专注以及批判性思维。我们的宝宝们做得很棒呢!

This Halloween was something out of this world!

这个万圣节真是太好玩啦!

We dressed up, we trick-or-treated for candy, we spend time with families and made new friends!

We also proved to be Balanced as we both had fun and learned a lot while celebrating the world’s spookiest festival.

And that, we believe, has brought us one step closer to being Global Citizens.

我们盛装打扮地与家人共度了美好难忘的亲子时光，获得了很多可爱的小糖果，也结交了新朋友!

我们相信，这使我们离成为世界公民又近了一步!
