专业概况

在这里学什么？ Financial crisis. Unemployment. Immigration. Market competition. Economics helps us shape the present and improve our future. You experience all aspects of economics and mathematics but instead of quantitative research methods, you study similar topics from the perspective of mathematical sciences, including statistics, linear algebra and calculus. Our BSc Economics with Mathematics is more economics focused than BSc Mathematics with Economics. In your first year, you have the opportunity to take optional modules from across the social sciences. During your second year, you build on these skills, taking modules in Econometric and Mathematical Methods and Optimisation. Your third year spent abroad at no extra cost gives you the chance to gain more experience and become even more employable. In your final year you specialise in areas that you find most interesting, which can include advanced economics modules.
