专业概况

在这里学什么？ There has never been a more crucial time to study Europe. You will be taught by leading experts and researchers to understand the nature of contemporary Europe from an economic, political and sociological perspective. You also explore Europe’s history and diverse traditions, as well as the artists, writers, philosophers, musicians, composers and filmmakers whose influences still dominate the world around us. You acquire the knowledge to make an active contribution to one of the most important political and cultural processes of our time. Unlike our other European studies course, there is no language requirement as you are taught in English. Here at Essex, our teaching and research in European studies offers maximum flexibility for you to study areas that interest you, so you can pursue a wide range of topics. You spend your third year on a placement gaining relevant work experience within an external business or organisation, giving you a competitive edge in the graduate job market and providing you with key contacts within the industry.
