专业概况

在这里学什么？ Improve your understanding of both history and literature, and investigate the ways in which the two subjects integrate. Your history modules focus on the modern period, specifically on the social and cultural changes affecting civilians, social groups and regions. We also encourage you to respond to Arthurian Literature; to edit never-before edited sonnets from the 16th century; and to hold history in your hands by working with our valuable collection of original books from the time of Shakespeare. There is a range of exciting options to choose from in both departments, and you can decide the focus of your third-year dissertation.You spend your third year on a placement gaining relevant work experience within an external business or organisation, giving you a competitive edge in the graduate job market and providing you with key contacts within the industry.
