新学期的节奏一波接一波。上海宏润博源学校社团招新宣讲和设摊招新于第二周和第三周进行。社团“创办人”站上礼堂讲台，讲述创社主张和内容。除了传统社团如：模拟联合国、手工社、中国语言与哲学社、羽毛球社、校乐队等，本学期一下又增加了多个新社团，比如足球社, 合唱社，高尔夫球社，说唱社等。

We have seen one activity after another since the beginning of the new semester. In the 2nd and 3rd weeks, club leaders made speeches to present their clubs and held a club recruitment fair. Speaking on the stage in the auditorium, club leaders explained to the audience why they organized their clubs and what their club activities were all about. In addition to some traditional clubs such as the MUN, handicraft club, club of Chinese language and philosophy, badminton club, and school band etc, this semester we included all at once many more new clubs such as the football club, the choir club, the golf club, and the hip-hop club etc.

Let’s take a look at some of the clubs and their core activities:

中国语言与哲学研究社：准备作品参加朗诵会，研究阳明心学。

Chinese Language and Philosophy Research Club: Club members will work to prepare for the recital contest, and do research into Yangming Psychology.

配音社：教配音小技巧，会给经典影视动漫配音。

Dubbing Club: Club members will be taught useful tips on dubbing and they will try to dub some classic movies and cartoons.

M&M社：绝对不是让你来是MM豆的社团，其实它是个数学社。

M&M Club: It is definitely not a club that will feed you with chocolate beans but actually a maths club.

BIU ：英语演讲社;

BIU: English Speech Club

剪辑社：帮助学校拍摄所有活动的花絮和大片以及剪辑视频

Film Editing Club: Club members will assist our school with the filming of all school activities and video clipping.

天文社：学习如何认识星座，在夜晚进行额外的观星活动。

Astronomy Club: Club members will learn how to recognize various constellations, and will do extra star observations at night.

野生自然观察社：在户外进行观鸟活动，感受自然之美的同时思考该如何保护环境。

Wild Nature Observation: Club members will watch birds outdoors, thinking about how to protect the environment while enjoying the beauty of nature.

书山社：阅读武侠小说和神话故事，相互交流讨论。主要书籍包括金庸先生所著的小说以及《山海经》。

Book-reading Club: Club members will read martial arts novels and myths, and then discuss them and exchange views on them with each other. The books they will read include mainly novels written by Mr. Jin Yong and “Classic of Mountain and Sea”.

能量俱乐部：绘画，阅读以及学习神秘的魔法。

Energy Club: Club members will do painting, reading and learn mysterious magics.

自律社：社员以3人为一组，相互督促、进步，培养自律性。

Self-Discipline Club: Divided into groups of 3, club members will step up efforts to become more and more self-disciplined by supervising each other and making progress together.

证券俱乐部：对于两本证券分析金融类的书籍进行精读，培养战略投资眼光。

Stock Club: Club members will intensively read two financial books on analysis of stocks, and work hard to develop their perspective about strategic investment.

I wanna : 美食鉴赏，室内外游戏，小小实验，纸牌游戏。

I wanna Club: Club members will taste delicious foods, play games both indoors and outdoors, make small experiments and play card games.

杂烩研究社：前DIY社团和生活研究所的整合，共同创作小型创意品。

Hotchpotch Research Club: Two club leaders formed this club by merging their previous DIY club with Lifestyle research club. Club members will create small innovative works of art.

电竞社：严肃的进行电子竞技训练，重在培养团队合作，练习游戏为《汤姆克兰西之彩虹六号：围攻》

E-sports Club: Club members will do some serious training on E-sports, and they will focus their training on team work. They will practise playing a game named “ Tom Crancy Rainbow 6: Siege”.

Super Smash ：相互竞技，在切磋中相互学习，指定游戏为《任天堂全明星大乱斗》

Super smash Club: Club members will compete against each other and learn from each other. The designated game to be played is “Nintendo All-Star Wars”.

MLP 社：社员们一起享受桌游带来的快乐。

斯巴达/击剑：勇士们喜欢的社团，可以锻炼身体，又可以学习击剑。

其它还有DANCE CLUB、hip-hop club、 Workout Club、C Club，及choir club:分别是舞蹈社、以参加学校各大活动为目的的说唱社、健身社、科学爱好者的社团及合作编写歌词的乐诗社。

再如高尔夫社、篮球社、足球社、羽毛球社、乐队等，不一一叙说。

MLP Club: Club members will be enjoying the pleasure brought by BRPG.

Sparta/Fencing club: This is the club loved by warriors. Club members will be able to not only build up their bodies but also learn fencing.

Other clubs include DANCE CLUB, hip-hop club, Workout Club, C Club and Choir club, golf club, basketball club, badminton club, and school band, to list a few of them.

同学们像“大玩家”，上及空中鸟，地上足下球;有演说的，有编唱词，还有做书中侠客，更有玩“烧脑”的，可以用“各有神通”来形容。当同学们脑洞大开的时候，我们的校园生活好玩极了。

Students are just like “big players” , and the club activities they have organized cover a wide range of areas. How fun our school life is when students are filled with inspirations!

3月3日下午，在教学楼走廊里开始了社团招生。桌子、椅子、海报，沿廊道摆放。

下课铃响起，同学们纷涌而至。有吆喝的，有讨论的，有喊社名的，有喊人的，此起彼伏。借用某位同学在社团介绍时的一句话“兴趣是生产力!”。同学们如此激情洋溢，活力四溢。

On the afternoon of March 3rd, a club recruitment fair was being held along the corridor in the teaching building. Tables, chairs, and posters had been placed and arranged down the corridor.

The moment the bell which dismissed the class rang, students poured in. The recuitment fair soon became buzy and full of laughters. They were either shouting or discussing. To quote a remark from one club leader’s presentation," interest is the first motivation !". The students were so passionate and energetic.
