DEGREE OVERVIEW

In telling stories, we are able to explore the furthest reaches of experience – whether it’s our own, or someone else’s. And in this way, stories also carry the power to shape the world.

Full Sail’s bachelor of fine arts degree in Creative Writing allows you to wield that power in a way that is at once meaningful and savvy. You’ll learn how to tell a tale across different media platforms, incorporating visual elements and exploring a variety of genres. You’ll examine different modes of publication and distribution, and hone your craft through ongoing portfolio courses and peer-to-peer workshops.

COURSE HIGHLIGHTS

Literary Techniques & Story Development - Study authorial choices and literary techniques that bring meaning and direction to stories.

Publishing & Distribution - Students learn how to publish and distribute their screenplays, television shows, comic books, videogame scripts, and novels while demonstrating their understanding of the evolution of the entertainment industry.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants must have high school/secondary school transcript. Language Proficiency: Applicants whose native language is not English must demonstrate the required level of language proficiency by providing documentation of one of the following: TOEFL iBT minimum required score of 79, IELTS Academic minimum required score of 6, Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) score of 53.
