专业概况
在这里学什么?The Military Leadership major requires 36-42 hours and leads to a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. 120 hours are necessary for graduation. The remaining credit hours are approximately 44 hours of general education courses and 34-40 hours are courses from the student’s second major or minor. A second major or minor is required. Students are encouraged to choose a second major related to their intended career objectives.
Curriculum Requirements 1. General Education Requirements (44 Hours)
2. Basic Course (7-10 Hours)
There are three ways of completing the Basic Course Requirements.
MIL 101: Military Mountaineer/Leadership (2 hours) MIL 102: Developmental Skills (2 hours) MIL 201: Basic Leadership (3 hours), AND MIL 202: Team Building/Military Doctrine (3 hours);
OR
MIL 209: Introduction to Military Life (1 hour) AND MIL 210: Military Science Practicum LTC (6 hours); OR Placement credit for the basic course through military service.
3. Advanced Course (17-20 Hours)
MIL 301: Military Leadership/Management (3 hours) MIL 302: Military Leader/Tactical (4 hours) MIL 401: Professional Leader Skills (3 hours) MIL 402: Role/Army Officer (4 hours) MIL 410: Military Science Practicum LDAC (6 hours) or LEAD 400: Practicum in Leadership (3 hours)
4. Restricted Electives (3 Hours) Choose one course.
HIST 299: Introduction to Military History (3 hours) HIST 494: U.S. Military History (3 hours)
5. Electives (9 hours) Two disciplines must be represented.
