The College of Music has a rich history and is attended by talented musicians from all over the world. We're recognized as one of the nation's most comprehensive music colleges and give you the opportunity to:

• Access one of the nation's largest music libraries
• Discover your potential in classes with an average 11:1 student-to-faculty ratio
• Meet some of the world's top music scholars and artists through specialized lectures and events hosted by various divisions in the college
• Take advantage of countless solo, chamber music and ensemble opportunities (Ensembles include six choral ensembles, two orchestras, nine jazz lab bands, a contemporary music ensemble, two early music ensembles and numerous percussion and wind ensembles.)

The necessary degree requirements for the B.A. include at least four semesters of lessons from a faculty member. You'll also study music theory, music history and a foreign language and perform in ensembles.

Career possibilities for Music majors include working for a performing arts company or in the radio, television or film industries.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students must have completed a high school graduation or equivalent qualification. English language requirement: IELTS: Overall band 6.0 or higher; TOEFL: Internet-Based (IBT): 79; Paper-Based: 550; PTE: Score of 53 or higher; ACT: 21 or higher on English; MELAB (official version): 80 or higher.
