The Bachelor of Science degree with a major in computer engineering is designed for students who wish to specialize in computer hardware, communication systems, digital signal processing, micro-controllers, real-time and embedded systems. The program provides a strong engineering background, with an understanding of the principles and techniques of computing.

Possible career fields include:

• Computer programming and app development
• Digital information processing
• Game programming
• Hardware and software design
• Information systems management

Graduates with practical experience are expected to have favourable job prospects. This is a result of rapid growth in computer systems design and related services and the limited supply of qualified individuals.
