在这里学什么?Why study Social Sciences Interdisciplinary BA - Legal Studies Concentration at UB?
Legal Studies is one of six concentration areas in the Social Sciences Interdisciplinary major. It provides students the opportunity to study legal institutions, legal processes and the role of law in society. It examines the political, social and philosophical development of law. The program offers a multidisciplinary perspective on the law in its social and political context.

Career Outlook
Students who graduate from the Social Sciences Interdisciplinary/Legal Studies major are prepared to work in law enforcement, law offices, government and business. Students have reported obtaining employment with the Office of the NYS Attorney General, the New York State Police, the New York City Police Department, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, NYS Mental Hygiene Legal Services, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and various law e interdisciplinary structure of the major prepares students to go on to advanced study in criminal justice, political science, human services, social work, journalism, and law school. Students have gone on to advanced studies at Buffalo State College, John Jay College of Criminal Justice, Penn State, SUNY Buffalo and Brooklyn College.

为来自中国的学生设计 Admission to UB’s freshman class is selective and is based in part on the quality of your secondary school academic record and the number of spaces available in the class. You should feel confident applying to UB if you have an above-average academic record and have taken challenging courses in high school to help prepare you to be successful at university. UB uses a 4.0 grading scale and we expect students applying here to have the equivalent of a 3.0 on that scale. That is the same as a grade of B or 83 on a 100-point scale. English Language Scores: The minimum score of TOEFL IBT is 70, the minimum score TOEFL PBT is 523, the minimum score of IELTS is 6.0, the minimum score of PTE is 50, CAEL 70, CanTEST 4.5, Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE) score 185; Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) score 185, IB Higher Level English a Literature 4, IB Higher Level English a Language and Literature 4.课程信息
