专业概况
在这里学什么?The ECE Department is dedicated to improving life through discovery, education and innovation. We embrace an open culture and offer our students unique forward-looking curricula, low student-to-faculty ratios and highly talented and dedicated professors, instructors and mentors. Our graduate courses cover a full breadth of areas, including core foundational topics as well as focused special offerings in the latest technologies.
Course Requirements
In addition to Graduate Studies requirements for the master's degrees, the department also requires at least one credit hour of graduate seminar ECE 590. Other program information is available at the Electrical and Computer Engineering department Web site.
Plan I: Among the required courses (a minimum of 15 credit hours in ECE), there must be four courses specified by the area of focus chosen by the student. Candidates for the Plan I M.S. must also satisfactorily pass the thesis defense.
Plan III: Among the required courses (a minimum of 18 credit hours in ECE), there must be four courses specified by the area of focus chosen by the student.
Major core courses: Bioengineering with CompE: ECE510 Medical Imaging (Fall), ECE533 Digital Image Processing (Spring) and ECE537 Foundations of Computing (Fall) Bioengineering with CompE: ECE510 Medical Imaging (Fall), ECE533 Digital Image Processing (Spring) and one of ECE500/ECE539/ECE560
