专业概况

The International Trade program is primarily designed to prepare students for employment in government, business, and education. The career-oriented program provides the opportunity for students to gain a strong background in theoretical, policy, and development aspects of international business and world trade, with special emphasis on geographical understanding of the process and impact of globalization. The program also provides a firm theoretical and methodological foundation for those who wish to continue in a doctoral program or professional degree programs.

Culminating Experience and Electives

GEO 631 Research Guidance (0-3 credits)

GEO 741 ITC Internship and Research Project [0-6 credits)

Required courses and electives must total 30 credit hours.

Electives may be in Geography, or in other fields such as Economics, Management, Political Science, Law or Foreign Languages.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants must have a bachelor's degree (or higher) or the equivalent from an accredited/government recognized college or university. Most such degrees will be four or more years in length; UB recognizes some three-year degrees, but not all; A B-grade (GPA of 3.0) or higher from your bachelor's degree (or equivalent) courses. Grade point averages from non-U.S. universities will be evaluated by UB's Office of International Admissions. English Language Requirements: The minimum score of TOEFL IBT is 79, the minimum score TOEFL PBT is 550, the minimum score of IELTS is 6.5, the minimum score of PTE is 55, the minimum score of Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE) 185, the minimum score of Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) 185.
