上海师范大学附属第二外国语学校(简称:上师二外)国际高中部创办于2011年,开设美高+AP课程和剑桥A-Level课程,全英文授课模式,是上海最早开设国际高中课程学校之一,采取导师制,并与美国高中、世界知名大学强强联合,建立了高质量海外学历合作项目。近年来,国际高中部学生较高概率进入Top100,50%的学生进入Top50。

2017年剑桥大学国际考试委员会CAIE认证,牛津大学国际考试委员会AQA授权认证。

Lisa Pan同学是一个有坚韧毅力的学生,严守学校规章纪律,遵守课堂的行为规范,不早退不迟到,每一节课认真记录笔记,每一节课都认真准备,积极参与课堂活动,作业按时按质量高效完成。线上学习期间,每一科目都能取得不俗的成绩。

Lisa Jin同学能够合理的规划自己的时间,早睡早起,白天课上课下都注意管控自己,晚上也不熬夜,十分高效地完成学习,在老师心中她是一名能迅速适应环境的机敏学生,做事有自己的见解和考量,独立自主,冷静聪明。

Janice Xiong同学

Janice Xiong同学在学业上的进步非常明显,即便在不擅长的理科学习上仍能保持探索研究的精神,对于自己喜爱的音乐课上十分用心,曾代表学部参与学校国庆表演,她积极开朗,乐观善良,拥有良好的人际关系,是班级的“开心果”,在担任学生会干部期间表现也十分优异。

Frank Deng同学刻苦学习,坚守本分,上课期间积极参与课堂互动,维护上课学习氛围和秩序,认真聆听老师讲课,并未有任何迟到旷课现象。课后自觉自律完成作业,杜绝抄袭作业现象,提前预习新知,与同学探讨学习内容,保持与学校上课一样的效率,尽自己**的努力做到比较好,不断超越。

Steven Dong同学作为学生:能认真听讲,积极动脑和发言,课堂练习和课后作业都能认真完成,字迹端正清晰大方,拿过多次各个学科的奖项和全优奖;作为班长、学生会干部:以身作则,团结同学,乐于助人,在学习上也能帮助其他同学共同进步;作为校园的一份子:能积极参加各项活动,*括运动会、音乐会、校内外的篮球赛和足球赛,还是2020年6月毕业典礼的一位志愿者。

Bojan Pazek老师

The thing I have enjoyed the most probably is the interaction that I had with my students. For me personally, that is the core and the essence of this vocation. Every day I try to come to work with a big smile on my face. To keep a positive attitude is the best way to show how much I enjoy my job. Whenever students need a fresh look at a problem in Mathematics, they come to me for aninnovative perspective.This is why I was able to create amazing presentations during online classes. I would say that my true power lies in creativity, which means always being open to learning something new, especially from students. I need to say that I am very proud to be here in Shanghai. Not just that through this journey I have learned more about myself and my own philosophy, but also my students and colleagues have helped me to feel and experience deeper this wonderful Chinese culture. At the end of the day, everything is about the students. When I now see how they are able to use and apply the language of Mathematics into Programming and Physics I undergo the excitement as I am finally living my true calling.

Ronie老师

More than 13 years have passed since I started my teaching career in China. I was a young and an enthusiastic professional very much eager to make a mark to the profession, and path I have chosen to pursue. Since the start of the pandemic a new wave of methods and strategies were implemented to secure our students’ safety at the same time using the available tools necessary to continue the learning process of our students while in the comforts of our own homes. Apps were created, virtual classrooms were established, most of these are not new. However, they were a challenge to both students and teachers. These challenges were not as simple as they appear to be, compelling me to go back to the basic tenets of being a teacher to face the obstacles head on and emerge a better person and professional. Passion to my profession, dedication and my commitment to my students are the principles that I always keep in mind to overcome what lies ahead, with these attributes I can say, earn me a mark in the teaching profession and in the hearts of my students. I have proven this for my whole career.

郭向梅老师

郭向梅老师是一位非常认真负责的好老师,给予学生非常多的关爱,为了让班级基础弱的学生能够学好数学,经常可以看到她晚上主动留下在教室给学生讲题的身影,从不计较个人得失,她积极乐观的态度也给了学生精神引导,让学生不再畏惧“难题”,促使学生进步。

Seamus O'Duigneain老师

Seamus is one of International English Teachers in INTL’Divison, he was not only well prepared, but also created an interesting class for the students during the pandemic prevention period. He responded with appropriate feedback for all questions, and was able to keep the class engaging. All teachers were put in a difficult position during the COVID-19 pandemic (some are still), but Seamus handled the situation with professionalism and determination.

Lester Edward Ver Vers老师

Mr. Lester Edward Ver Vers, called Mr. V by students, who has been overcome Time Zone issue and met the academic standards of the course, monitoring and giving feedback to the students, and having a positive environment in the class among his students.

Mr V. has high expectations in his classroom. From observations, he not only meets the content standards such as knowledge about history but also meets the skill standards such as having student examine different sources in history and asking questions about the topics of history based on information presented.

Furthermore, he often goes over the homework the next day in class and tells the students what they are missing or what they can do better. Students are regularly engaged to give classwork and homework in class so his classes have a combination of instruction and facilitating learner centered work. The student projects have rubrics or other marking schemes so students can know what to do.

Lastly, the teacher provides a positive environment for the students. He has rewards for good behaviors demonstrated in class such as public praise or rubber duckies. He encourages participation. He knows the students individually, giving differentiated activities, and access to learning materials and discussions amongst each other.

Anastasia Vishnevskaia老师

Nastia as she is known to most people. She was selected on the reasons of a positive atmosphere, engaging class, good monitoring and feedback given to the students.

Firstly, when her classes were observed, Miss Nastia had a combination of pictures, videos, words, and sounds to her presentations online. Her lessons looked well prepared and very detailed. She provided lots of examples to examine and conversed passionately about her subject. Her tone was one of enthusiasm, compassion, and sincerity with her students.

In addition, beyond the multimedia display of her lessons, she would give them activities they could do at home and show her. Plus, she paid attention to them and the kids did their work diligently.

Finally, at the beginning of every class, she gave feedback on the homework she got. During the process of teaching, she would ask questions. When the student did work, she gave comments.

For these reasons, Nastia should receive a teacher award.

Angel Yu老师

Attending one of Angel’s online Zoom classes, seemed to be just like attending one of her physical classes. There seemed to be no change in her teaching style, and yet there was no change in her interaction with and response from her students. Somehow, she overcame that invisible barrier. Despite connectivity issues, she kept the dialogue going with her students, and at no time did it seem as if any student had ‘disappeared’ from the class.

She made good use of the technology, creating time limited tasks for her students to do online. In this way she continually challenged them, and added a new dimension to her teaching. By using this technology, she enabled the students to gain immediate feedback as to their progress, or lack of progress. When a problem emerged regarding some content that had not been well-understood, Angel immediately rectified it.

During online visits, she was always noticed the enjoyment the students had. None of them seemed even to notice that this was a remote learning experience. There was ongoing appropriate dialogue between the students, when such dialogue was necessary.

For these reasons, Angel Yu deserves recognition for her efforts during the online teaching period.

黄文光老师

黄文光老师专业知识扎实,体育素质好,教学理念在教学实践中,坚持让学生参与教学全过程,疫情期间,有针对性的设计课程,对学生居家学习的身体健康,进一步的起到了辅助作用。不仅如此,黄老师结合实际,拓展课程,课堂设计合理,节奏适度,培养了学生的学习兴趣,促进了学生的全面发展,深受学生们的喜爱。

刘子帅老师

刘子帅老师是我部体育老师,拥有专业的体育教学水平。篮球运动员出身的他具有专业的篮球水平,深受学生喜爱。课堂上的他也是风趣幽默,他的课堂很受学生欢迎。作为一名体育教师,他始终坚持对学生因材施教,根据学生兴趣、爱好、身体素质、天气、场地等原因精心备课。他常常精心设计一些环节,让每一位学生在我的课堂上都有所收获。他默默地奉献。注重为人师表,不断提高自己的事业道德修养。立足本职,努力提高文化专业知识和教育教学的技能。他热爱教育事业,坚持教“养”并重。

施秀英老师

施秀英老师在“线上教学”期间,能**教学按时有序展开,即使是隔壁邻居装修制造噪音,她也克服困难坚持完成教学,没有因为居家办公而松懈下来。施老师在“线上教学”期间总是能保持授课环境简单干净,提前进入课堂做准备,衣着规范,课件清晰,课堂有序开展,学生在课堂上互动活跃,学习热情高涨,教学效果突出。
