You like math? Perfect. Our mathematics for information systems degree will give you a comprehensive mathematics education. It will also teach you about information systems through computer- and business-related courses.

Math classes are close-knit and hands-on, letting you work closely with our faculty. Our faculty has expertise in mathematical modeling, difference equations, and discrete mathematics.

Our math major is one of the easiest majors to combine with other disciplines. A number of the required math courses overlap with other majors. Students majoring in computer or science can easily double major in math with a few extra math courses.

Integrated technology

In the classroom, we'll use technology to analyze and solve mathematical problems. You'll use mathematical modeling software, a computer algebra system, and the Geometer's Sketchpad. You won't just read about theorems, you'll test them yourself.
