5月21号，“青春杯”篮球联赛第三场比赛在上师大附二外国际部体育中心举行。参赛双方是上师大附二外国际部篮球队和光华篮球队。

On May 21st, the third game of the "Youth Cup" basketball league was held at the Sports Center of our school. This time our team played against Guanghua College (Pudong Campus) basketball team.

虽然之前与光华已有一次友谊赛，但这次是计入联赛场次的正式赛，所以队员们各个兴致勃勃，做着热身运动。等光华的队员们入场并做完热身运动后，比赛开始了。

Although we have previously played a friendly match against Guanghua before, the atmosphere this time was very different, because of this being an official league match. It was easy to see that the players from both teams were focused.

两强相遇，场面分外激烈。面对强劲的对手，我方队员迎难而上!抢断、盖帽、篮板，竭尽全力阻挠着对手得分。前半场，我方得分远超对手，但因体能消耗过大或是有些放松，后来比分被慢慢追上，最后被对方反超。赛后，双方队员一一击掌告别，并拍照留念。

The match began at an intense pace. Despite the strength of our opponents, our players rose to the challenge, blocking the opponents, taking the ball from them at every opportunity and making sure we took possession of each rebound. The result was, that in the first half, we easily outscored our more fancied opponents. Sadly, in the second half, due to fatigue and perhaps some relaxation, we allowed our opponents back into the match. They were able to catch up to our score and pass it, going on to emerge victorious. After photos at the end of the match, the two teams congratulated each other for a hard-fought encounter.

虽然表面上我方失败了，但其实大家都有了很大的进步，这进步不仅体现在得分的增加上，更体现在团队意识的增强上，队员间配合默契，进球迅速。这都是大家平日苦练无数次的结果，令人由衷佩服!

Although we lost the match, there are many positives to take away. It is clear that our team is making good progress, and function more as a team now. This increasingly successful team play is leading to faster scoring, which bodes well for the future. Our players are to be congratulated for their hard work every week!

相信在每场比赛中积累的经验和教训，会铺成通往成功的光明之路，请继续努力加油吧，胜利必将属于永不言弃的人!
