彩云之南有个美丽的地方——永平，上海东郊有所温情的学校——上海师范大学附属第二外国语学校，相隔近三千公里的两个世界，因为爱而在一起。

In the Southwest of China, there is a beautiful, sunny place—Yongping, located in Yunnan. Although this school is more than 3000 kilometers from us, there is already a strong link between the two schools.

支教活动

上海师范大学附属第二外国语学校英语老师余安琦，作为复旦大学校友会萌基金在线支教老师中的一员，每个星期给龙街初级中学的孩子们上课。余老师对孩子们的良好表现赞不绝口，孩子们也十分喜爱这位和蔼可亲的老师，因此师生总是聊到很晚，相互还是依依不舍。余老师说，她迫不及待想在即将到来的春季研学中与孩子们面对面沟通，手拉手交流。

Ms. Angel Yu, one of our ESL teachers, has, through the assistance of the Meng Foundation, started an initiative where the students of the Longjie Middle School are taught online every week. Angel has frequently commented on the good and respectful behavior of these students, children also love this kind and friendly teacher. Even though the classes are sometimes late in the evening, both Angel and the students remain enthusiastic. Angel cannot wait to be able to meet these students face to face during the upcoming spring field trip.

此次支教活动经历了年前酝酿、年后各方沟通等筹备过程，最终得以实现;我校领导大力支持此活动，并期待在不久的将来，各学科老师，*括外籍教师和中国教师都参与到活动中来，更好地帮助永平的孩子们。

Our school leadership team is fully supportive of this activity. they expect that in the future, there will be more such collaboration with both international and Chinese teachers helping the students of Yunnan.
