On April 23, following the completion of the Midterm exams, our department launched the clubs for the fourth quarter. The aim was to provide students with clubs that are more interesting, yet still suitable for their needs.

Academic support courses are opened

为了满足同学们想尽快提高自己英语和数学的学术水平这一要求，本次特增设了ESL和Math两门社团课程，并为课程配备了经验丰富的教师团队，希望同学们积极报名，学有所获。

For some students who want to improve their academic level in English or Mathematics, a new opportunity was presented. Students in need will be able to take extra classes in these areas to develop their understanding and proficiency. Both courses are offered by a team of experienced teachers.

为了开阔同学们的国际视野，提高自身的综合素质，结交更多的良师益友，本次开设了MUN社团课程。Ms. La Forest和李跃超老师将会继续带领大家走进MUN的世界，去经历各地优秀青年们智慧和热情的碰撞过程。参赛归来的同学强烈推荐大家入社，积极报名哦。

In order to broaden the international vision of the students, improve their overall quality, and to also make more good friends, we have started the MUN club. Ms. La Forest and Mr. Jacky Li will continue to guide students into the world of MUN and to also learn from the wisdom and enthusiasm of outstanding young people from all over the world. The students who returned from the recent MUN competition are strongly recommending everyone to join this club!

Keeping fit is healthy

有些同学是不是想着，在紧张的学习生活之余来点体育锻炼，从而智慧、体魄两不误呢?学校早就为大家考虑到了，所以将会继续开设由施秀英和常琳青两位老师以及施悦同学带领的羽毛球社，由黄文光和刘子帅老师率领的篮球社及篮球队。要想挤进这两门广受欢迎的社团课程，记得带上你的装备和热情哦。

For some students, exercise is a welcome break from the intense study that is required. The opportunity to participate in a sport offers students this break and also encourages them to keep fit and healthy. With this in mind, the school will continue to offer the Badminton and Basketball clubs. The Badminton club will be led by Ms. Elena Shi and Ms. Lynn Chang and King Shi.Mr. Ray Liu and Mr. Alan Huang will lead the Basketball club. Students wanting to enjoy either of these sports must being their correct gear and lots of enthusiasm and energy!

Our school has diverse cultures and is very concerned about the development of students' individuality. Because of this, some other special and interesting clubs are offered. Allow us to introduce them to you.

外教宣讲

柳李仙和葛倩两位老师将会开设美食社，希望为喜爱美食的同学们提供一个展现自己才能的天地，并借此为同学们以后的独立生活打下良好的基础;

Mr. Trent Thomason, Ms. Matthews和吴桐叶同学一如既往为大家带来乐队社团，喜欢乐器、爱好唱歌的同学千万不要错过;项玉老师将会协助杨紫钰同学开设民族舞蹈社，如果你有跳舞的兴趣，肯定会喜欢这个社团的;黄笛轩老师开设的中韩文化交流社，为两国同学一起学习语言，交流文化提供了很好的平台;张春宇和杜兴龙两位老师开设的智慧社，将带领大家进入棋类世界，感受思维激战的乐趣;Mr. Mensah和王达同学开设的商社，为喜欢经济、商业的同学搭建交流和发展的平台;乐高中心老师会和大家一起搭建乐高，并教授电脑编程知识，带领同学参加各类比赛;Mr. Colin Hulshof开设的陶艺社会让你领略从泥土到陶艺的手工之美……

Ms. Cherry Liu and Ms. Jessica Ge will set up a food club. Their aim is to provide a place for students who love food to show their talents, and to lay a good foundation for the independent life of the students in the future. Mr. Trent Thomason and Ms. Matthews and Bobby Wu, as always, are running the band. Students who like musical instruments and music should not miss this one. Ms. Xiang Yu will assist Arison Yang to set up a Chinese Dance club. If you have an interest in dancing, you will definitely like this club. The Sino-Korean Cultural Exchange Club opened by Ms. Cheryl Huang provides a good platform for students from both countries to learn language and exchange culture. The wisdom society opened by Ms. Spring Zhang and Mr. Xinglong Du enable students to play chess and also experience the pressure of trying to outthink your opponent. The commercial club opened by Mr. Mensah and Altoria Wang will build a platform for communication and development for economic and business students. We also have the Robotics Club. Using Lego, students will design and build robots, while learning and utilizing computer programming knowledge. The pottery club opened by Mr. Colin Hulshof allows students to appreciate the beauty of craftsmanship...
