2019年4月26日，上师大附二外国际部召开家长会。我校学生服务中心全力支持，家长会顺利举行。

Last Friday, April 26th, our Primary school, American High School and Domestic high school departments held a parent meeting on the same day. Our school’s Student Service Center fully supports the holding of such PTC meetings and were on hand to ensure it proceeded smoothly with out a hitch.

剑桥部：期待与”年级”同升,学习与“探究”齐飞

Cambridge Department：Expectations follow the step of raising grades– Through study and inquiry – based learning

剑桥部家长会在大厅签到后，各家长根据自己的行程表到各班级与老师“一对一”交流。有的家长的孩子在本学期转入我校，以前未曾体验这种形式的家长会，对我校记者坦言：“学校安排非常“人性化”，这一趟让我清楚的了解到孩子的优势和劣势。孩子进来后，进步很多，尤其是英语，我感到欣慰。”在我校常年就读的学生家长参加本次家长会的侧重点又有所不同，从多位班主任处了解到，小学一二三年级的家长更多关注学生的习惯，四五年级就开始操心初中的竞争和定位，六年级家长关注各科平衡性发展，七年级家长关注孩子是思维是偏向文科还是适合理科;八年级家长开始思考高中怎么读，以及确定哪所大学为目标;九年级和十年级家长直接关注学习成绩如何提升。

剑桥部家长会

The Cambridge Department parents registered in the lobby of the teaching building, and then, according to their scheduled appointments, proceeded to the assigned classrooms and teachers for one- on-one discussions. Some parents, whose children transferred to our school this semester, have not experienced this form of parent-teacher conference before. They spoke to our school’s reporter and said: “These types of meetings are very practical. This visit helped me understand more clearly the strengths and weaknesses of my child. I am pleased with the progress they have made, especially in English.” The parents of the students who have been studying in our school all the year round have a different perspective. From speaking to several class mentors, we came to learn that parents in grade 2 and grade 3 pay more attention to the daily habits of their child; the fourth and fifth grade parents worry about the competition and preparing their child for secondary, or middle school; and the sixth grade parents pay attention to their child’s balanced progress in all subjects. The seventh grade parents paid attention to whether their children are more inclined to the liberal arts or to the sciences, and the eighth-grade parents are beginning to think about their child’s high school studies and to decide which high school to choose for their child to attend.Parents in Grade 9 and Grade 10 are directly concerned about how to improve their academic performance.

美高部家长会一共有5个环节：入校签到领取成绩单——品尝暖心的自助午餐——在1楼礼堂聆听学部教育整体情况——进入各教室与老师面对面交流——自愿参加升学指导讲座。

丰富的行程让家长不虚此行，记者采访了五位家长。他们关注学生的角度各有不同，但却有两个一致：一致希望孩子的成绩越来越好;一致认可学部为学生考取更好大学所做的调整与改革。

美高部家长会

This PTC has five sessions: 1: Check-in to get the report card (transcript); 2: Enjoy a heartwarming buffet lunch; 3: Listen to the overall learning situation of the Department in the auditorium on the 1st floor; 4: Proceed to the classrooms and talk face-to-face with the teachers, and 5; Attend seminars to discuss future study opportunities.

The rich schedule is very helpful to the parents of the high school students, and our reporter interviewed five parents. They look at their children from different perspectives, but they have two things in common: they want their children’s performance to improve; and they support the adjustments and reforms made by the International Division to assist students to be admitted to better universities.
