笔者总结上师大附二外剑桥双语部本届阅读月，得出了5W2H规律,即: Why，How，What, Where, When, Who, How much?

The author has summarized the reading month celebrated at our school and has drawn up a 5 Why, 2 How rule; that is- Why, How, Where, When, Who and How much?

Why?为什么要读书?

尽管我知道我的女儿出国以后，还是要进入到社会经历打拼，做平常的**，嫁做人妇，洗衣煮饭，相夫教子。但是我坚信，我的女儿因为经受书籍的熏陶，拥有更敏锐的洞察力，所以同样的**，她有不一样的心境，同样的家庭，她有不一样的情调，同样的后代，却有不一样的素养。

“I know that after my daughter goes abroad, she will enter everyday life, hold down a job and work hard, marry and support her husband, do laundry and cooking and teach her children. But I firmly believe that because she has been influenced by books and literature, she has an elevated acumen. This will help her to have a different attitude to her job; her home life will be distinctively different to the ordinary; she will possess an indomitable spirit, which will influence her own generation and her children – this is because of the profound influence of reading.”

How? 怎样去读书?

我校剑桥部老师在读书讲座上分享读书心得：1.挑自己爱读的书;2.重点挑自己爱看的章节，或者通过找茬，比较，调侃的角度去捣鼓这本书;3.看完一本再换一本——坚持成习惯。”

“1. Choose a book that you would like to read; 2. Focus on the chapters you would like to read, compare, contrast and investigate different viewpoints in the book; 3. Finish reading the book and select another one – persist in this way and it will become a habit. ”

其他老师参与执行，邀请家长到校，让家长陪伴学生去读书;

Other teachers participated in instilling good reading habits in the students by inviting the parents to join their children at school and read together.

利用我校是K12教育布局便利，让高年级带低年级小朋友去读书;

Taking advantage of our school’s K12 program, the senior students also read with the younger students.

提倡趣味阅读法，让学生快乐读书。在书市上，让学生为自己喜爱的书呐喊推广，传递爱书的精神，交换知识，连接友谊。

The purpose was to instill a delight for books and promote interesting ways to read. At the “book market”, students exchanged their books with other students, sharing their favorite parts of the books. Friendships were strengthened and a general love of reading was promoted.

阅读月

书可以分享，可以漂流，甚至可以“叫卖”，但是书还可以表演!!剑桥中学部的学生分别表演了课本文章——《天鹅湖》，《狼牙山五壮士》，《愚公移山新传》和《变色龙》。

Books can be shared, lead a wandering life or even be sold, but they can also be “performed”. Students in the Cambridge Middle school performed short dramas based on their textbook lessons –“ Swan Lake”; “The Five Heroes of Mount Langya”; “A New Biography of Yugong Yishan” and” A Chameleon”, respectively.

What?我们读什么样的书?

在“向经典人物致敬”活动中，我们有的学生缅怀金庸先生，分小组阅读“飞雪连天射白鹿笑书神侠倚碧鸳”;有的学生阅读《哈利波特全集》，并取名为——“哈哈哈哈哈哈哈”小组;还有一部分同学纵向阅读，从摄影，设计到心理无所不读，真应了那句“腹有诗书气自华，最是书香能致远”。

In "A Salute to Classical Characters" activity, our students paid tribute to writer, Jin Yong. They also studied the "Harry Potter" books in groups, and generally, all the students travelled to distant places in their hearts and imaginations.

Where?在什么场合读书?

通过“趣味读书照”活动，学生们不仅在教室里读书，餐桌上读书;有的还在树房里，在马桶上，在篝火旁，在飞机上.......在一切能读书的空间里，从指缝间抓住光阴读书。

Through viewing the photos taken during the activity of "Interesting Reading Photos", students were seen not only to read in the classroom and at the dining table, but also in the tree house, in the bathroom, by the campfire, or on the plane... in all possible places, they grasped the opportunity to read.

When? 什么时间读书?

知识海洋浩渺无边，读书时间亦无定论。读书如吃饭可以很讲究，但却真是“不挑时(食)”。

Reading can be done at any time. Unlike food, reading is satisfying and the sea of knowledge is boundless.

Who? 哪些人读书?

学生，老师，家长.......全校动员Who?Students, teachers, parents…the whole school.

How much?读书花费哪些成本?

日进斗金的巴菲特每天绝大多数的时光，都是独自一人在自己的书房或者办公室静静地度过的。这样成功的人，把时间拿来读书，把读书当做投资。比起可以计量的买书费用和读书时间，收益却是不可估量的。请不计成本的读书吧!

A wealthy man, Warren Buffett, spends most of his time alone in his study or office. Successful people like this use time to read books as an investment. Compared with the measurable cost of buying books and taking time to read, the benefits are immeasurable. Please read and disregard the monetary cost.

读书的乐趣永远道不尽，说不完。是沉醉名人轶事里的悲欢离合，是沉浸在秋风悲画扇的浅吟低唱，是高唱大江东去的豪迈，是柳暗花明又一村的惊喜，是穿越时空遇见知己的满足。是正在让阅读此文的您，察文识人的意犹未尽.......

Reading brings us many treasures, gives us satisfaction and pleasure. When we read, we are surprised, refreshed and delighted. We can travel to many destinations, through time and space- to the highest mountain and the lowest valley. The most important thing is the benefits reading brings to our own souls.
