2018年7月8日，上师大附二外剑桥双语部首届博睿智夏令营顺利举行。We successfully held our first Summer Camp on the 8th of July!

7月8日 开营仪式

在邢校长的开讲词中拉开序幕!营员们顺利通过分班测试进入到最适合自己的班级。坚强的营员们，在营旗前和爸妈摆出靓丽的pose以作告别。

开营仪式

At our Opening Ceremony held on the 8th of July, Principal Xing began by welcoming the students to the camp. They were then placed into different groups according to their several abilities and interests. The excited campers and their parents posed with the banner and then bade each other farewell.

在**天的破冰活动上，营员们很快的互相熟识，分享零食，按纪排队，节约粮食，彬彬有礼，给老师留下美好的印象。

On the first day, during the ice-breaking activities, the students quickly got to know each other, began sharing snacks together and learned to line up in an orderly and disciplined way. Their politeness and good manners made a good impression on the teachers.

7月9日 上课**天

这一天尤为出彩的是Samuel老师的课堂，学生们都被老师的“Are you ready?”问得情绪激昂，对课堂活动也跃跃欲试。教室的活跃气氛也影响隔壁教师的教学。所有的老师和学生在**天的课堂上都精神抖擞，神采奕奕。当晚，舞蹈演员，戏剧演员的选拔也在激烈进行。

9th of July – The first day of classes

In foreign teacher Samuel’s class, he asked them : “Are you ready?” The students responded eagerly and were especially excited with the activities that he had planned. The animated atmosphere was felt in the classroom and in the surrounding classrooms. At the end of the first day, the teachers and students all felt energized and invigorated. There was great excitement as the selection of actors and actresses for the performances began to get underway.

7月10日 上课第二天

第二天的课程类型里增加了室外活动课。踢小足球，制作水火箭并成功发射都引起学生极大的兴趣，辛勤的老师身兼数职，为次日的外出探索做好铺垫**。当天晚上，所有班级的营员完全融入了营地生活，丢三落四的习惯改变了许多，对零食的控制欲增强，同时，许多营员**了分享(Share)。大家的友谊进一步加深。

上课第二天

10th of July - The second day of classes

The students engaged in outdoor activities and learned to play mini-football, made water rockets and were very excited when they successfully launched these rockets. The hard-working teachers were already planning the next day’s activities. By the evening, the campers were all completely integrated into camp life, well disciplined, and had begun relaxing together and forming friendships as they learned to share snacks with each other.

7月11日 外出探索

当天早晨营员收拾妥当，按时出发前往都市菜园。太阳晴空万里，日风和煦，一扫台风过境的“愁云”。天气炎热，反而增强了营员的毅力。大家唱着《学猫叫》，踏着节拍观赏了苤蓝 ，热带仙人掌，巨型仙人球以及怒放的向日葵。

11th of July- Educational Outing

Early in the morning, the students were already packed and excitedly set out on time to the vegetable farm. The wind had blown away the dark clouds of the typhoon and the bright blue sky and warm weather intensified the energetic atmosphere. The students sang happily as they travelled. Once they got to the farm, they meandered through vegetable greenhouses, picked tomatoes outdoors and enjoyed the views of the giant cactus plants and sunflowers in full bloom. The students and teachers all received a small chilli pepper plant to take home and nuture.

丰盛的午餐过后，大家利用有限的丙烯颜料通过游戏传递法在洁白的布上按手印。整个过程持续1个小时，营员沉迷其中以致错过了放风筝的比较不错时机。随后，营员一鼓作气，去番茄地里采摘了新鲜的番茄，在五谷丰登台上种起了小辣椒。

After a delicious lunch, students and teachers spent about an hour creating a colorful banner with a painted palm prints as a special memory of their outing.

7月12日 上课第三天

外籍老师教学技能出彩，中教老师也丝毫不弱。在Seven老师的自然拼读课堂上，有的营员做出了实质性的变化——不仅敢说也热爱英语。Seven老师不仅课程教的好，指导学生做手工艺品也是水平颇高。结营演出的道具装饰大部分都是Seven老师班级制作。

The skilled foreign teachers presented excellent classes and already some students had made substantive progress in Speaking and improved their spelling abilities. They were also beginning to love English! Mr Seven expertly guided the students in his DIY class, and his students began to make the props for the English Drama show.

博睿智夏令营

7月13日 上课第四天

能歌善舞的Angel老师利用自己舞蹈天分的特长，用肢体语言配合声音去讲述故事。让孩子爱上了英语故事。晚上，Angel老师丝毫没有休息，指导报名表演的孩子跳舞，《海草舞》就是Angel老师手把手**营员的。

13th of July – Day four

Teacher Angel, who is a very talented singer and dancer, demonstrated to the students how to tell stories using their voice and body language, drawing the students into the story and fostering a love for English. In the evening, teacher Angel didn’t rest but continued teaching the children who were going to perform in the show; sometimes giving personal attention to individual students, as they learned “The Seaweed Dance”.

7月14日 结营仪式

最后一天，全体营员分工明确，没有表演的孩子成为老师的小帮手——协助布置会场。13：00结营仪式正式开始，本次夏令营的校长崔晶女士作了重要讲话，寄语孩子们前程似锦。老师们尽职尽责，根据孩子们的表现，设置了比较不错制作奖，比较不错男演员等诸多奖项。让所有营员都感受到自己的进步。

14th of July – Conclusion and Closing Ceremony

On the last day of activities, everyone knew what they had to do, and even the students who weren’t performing in the show, became involved in helping the teachers to ready the venue. At 1pm , the ceremony began as the Principal of the Summer camp, Ms Cui, made a speech thanking the hard working and dedicated teachers and talked about the promising future of the Summer camp. The teachers then presented students with awards, such as Best Actor and Best Performance .The students were awarded for the progress they had made.

在离别时分，大家依依惜别，合影留恋。共同期待明年的夏令营。大家相信明年的夏令营会举办的更加绚烂!

As the time of departure came, everyone said goodbye and took a group photo as a fond reminder of their time together. We look forward to the Summer Camp next year and believe that it will be more exciting, even more splendid than this year!
