2018年8月中旬初,上师大附二外剑桥双语部在刘望校长的指导下。剑桥部老师提前到岗，为开学全力以赴做好准备。

In the middle of August, the new teachers in the Cambridge department assembled under the guidance of Principal Liu Wang. All the Cambridge department teachers also gathered to plan and prepare for the new school year.

剑桥部学术副校长Mark老师介绍了本学期新加入的近10位老师，对他们表示出热烈的欢迎。此外Mark老师对教学**的开展和方法予以明确的说明。

Mark, Cambridge Department- Academic Vice-principal, gave a warm welcome to the 10 new teachers who joined the Department this semester. In addition, he gave a clear description of the teaching and methods of this department.

剑桥部部执行副主任Priscila老师提出指导方针：注重对学生的素质教育，着力培养学生的才华和技能，重视学生语言能力的提升，全力打造一支高度热枕积极进取的专业教师队伍。

Priscilla, Executive Deputy Head of the Primary school- Cambridge department, proposed some guidelines: Focus on quality education for students, on cultivating student’s talents and skills, attach a greater importance to the improvement of student’s language ability, and make every effort to build a highly motivated, proactive and professional team of teachers.

剑桥部副主任施老师以风趣幽默的方式介绍了教学**要求和家校沟通事项。施老师引用美国哈佛大学教授霍华德·加德纳博士提出多元智能理论：语言智能、数学逻辑智能、空间智能、身体运动智能、音乐智能、人际智能、自我认知智能、自然认知智能，勉励所有老师加强学生多元智能的开发。

Ms Shi, the Chinese Executive Deputy Head of the Primary School- Cambridge department, introduced the essential teaching requirements and communication between the school and parents in a humorous way. She cited Harvard University Professor Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligence Theory: Linguistic intelligence, Mathematical logic and reasoning ability, an understanding of Dimensional Space, Body and movement intelligence, Music intelligence, Interpersonal skills intelligence, Self-awareness intelligence, and natural Cognitive intelligence. All teachers are encouraged to strengthen the multiple intellectual aspects of the students.

剑桥学生部副主任夏老师为确保学生全面素质的提高，对教学起好导向和**作用，夏老师融合海内外教学特点，结合我校学生实际情况，制定一套切实可行的素质教育方案，为学生身心健康发展保驾护航。

In order to ensure the improvement of the comprehensive character education and development of the students, Mr. Xia, Deputy head of Cambridge Department, explained the characteristics of teaching at home and abroad. In light of the actual situation of students and the aims of our school, a set of practical and quality education programs have been formulated to ensure the sound physical and mental development of students.
