2018年度上师大附二外剑桥双语部暑假先锋营于2018年8月17日顺利闭幕，回顾过去2周趣味盎然的课程:English Speaking ,Social Studies,PE,Critical Thinking等等 (排名不分先后)。学生收获丰富。

The trail-blazing Summer Camp successfully concluded on August 17, 2018.Let us review the interesting lessons over the past two weeks: English Speaking , Social Studies, PE and Critical Thinking . The students reaped a rich harvest.

有的学生是**次**新建**张PPT;有的学生是**次走上讲台做Presentation;有的学生是**次在老师的指导下完成脚内侧弧线射门;有的学生则是**次参加舞台剧表演;有的学生**次离开父母温暖的臂弯，顺利的开始寄宿生活之旅.......

Some students learned to develop a PPT for the first time; some students had their first opportunity to make a presentation from the podium. Still other students, under the guidance of the dedicated PE teachers, learned how to use their feet, the instep, to shoot goals successfully. For some students, it was also the first time that they got to perform in a theatrical drama on the stage.

每一个“**次”的背后都是老师辛勤的付出，老师背后也有一个温暖的小家庭。有的老师的孩子生病，送往医院后继续回校**;有的老师成为新晋奶爸一个月，整个夏令营期间却24h待在学校;有的老师胸怀大义，虽未安排明确任务到她个人，她却像呵护天使一样的主动陪护学生待在学校。

For some students, it was the first time that they got to experience boarding life. Behind every “first time” are the hard working teachers, and still behind the teachers, are their own families. Some of the teachers leave sick children in hospital to come to work, some teachers are fathers of month- old babies. For the duration of the summer camp, no matter what the weather, the teachers remained at school. Some teachers also assisted learners with moral correctness, even though they were not tasked to do so. Our teachers are like beacons of light, taking the initiative to care for students.

在过去的2周时光里,学生的进步让老师的付出得到回报,学生的开心让老师的奉献更有意义。

Over the course of two weeks, the progress of the students was rich and rewarding for the dedicated teachers and the students and teachers had formed a wonderful bond.

在过去的2个星期中，老师专业的教学能力帮助学生掌握学习的新方法;老师发自内心的爱校爱生使得学生在校园里享受到如家般的温暖。

The professional ability of the teachers also helped students to master new ways of learning and to thrive at all they attempted.

在闭营仪式上，学生献上了完整而风趣的《绿野仙踪》。

At the camp’s closing ceremony, students presented the witty stage drama, the “Wizard of Oz”.

小初部刘望校长感谢参与的老师与家长，鼓励学生抓取日后的机会，不断的展现才能。

Primary school principal Liu Wang thanked the participating teachers and parents and encouraged students to grasp every opportunity in the future to learn.

“今天，我站在这里并不是做总结。因为我认为学生们的道路还很长，人生总有征程，让我们乘风破浪，直济沧海”。——刘望校长如是说。

He said: ‘Today is not the conclusion. Life is a journey, the students have a long way to travel, to brave the winds and sea, cross rivers and oceans.”
